Project Description

Penguin Films produced the 65 part one-hour drama series, entitled Home Affairs for SABC 1. Home Affairs tells the stories of six women from separate universes searching for their true identity in South Africa. Home Affairs has been a finalist in the drama category at the International Emmys four times between 2007 and 2010 in both the best drama category and best actress category. In 2007 Home Affairs was a finalist at Banff (Canada), and received a special mention at the Rose d’Or (Switzerland).
The first season of Home Affairs was directed by Minky Schlesinger and Catherine Stewart and the second season was directed by Natalie Haarhoff, Nurma-Ann Dippenaar, Minky Schlesinger and Claire Stopford. The main storyliners were Thomas Hall & Rosalind Butler.

HOME AFFAIRS has been a finalist in the drama category at the International Emmy Awards four times between 2007 and 2010 in both the best drama category and best actress category.
