In a build up to 2010 and the soccer world cup Penguin produced 52 one hour episodes of the soccer drama Shooting Stars for e t.v. The series followed an up and coming local soccer club as they strive to make the premier league division.
Shooting Stars was directed on Location by Grant Nale and Gerhard Mostert. Studio Directors were Rudi Trap, Shirley Johnston, Gerhard Mostert and Sacha Clelland-Stokes. The storyliner was Rosalind Butler, based on a concept by Sacha Clelland-Stokes.
